The APARTMENT is in a terrace building. It is on the first floor of the building above a Bureau de Change.

It is accessed by communal STAIRS from a street door. Rue Georges Clemenceau is a single lane road which runs up from Place Republique towards the Mairie. This is in the heart of the old town. There is NO PARKING with the apartment although there are parking spaces nearby which can be used to unload but not to stay. Parking is otherwise in the car parks located outside of the ramparts: some fee paying and some free, depending on the time of year. The town also has some free car parks at the perimeter: a shuttle bus service connects them to the town at 75 cents a trip (in 2011). There is an underground car park off Rue Lacan near the Post Office. During 2011 work has started to build another underground multi storey car park immediately outside the ramparts.



The ENTRANCE HALL has a large wardrobe which contains the electricity switchboard. The living room, shower room, and main bedroom open off the entrance hall.



Living Room The LIVING ROOM faces West and opens onto Rue Georges Clemenceau and glass doors open onto a narrow balcony running the width of the building. The door and a window are double glazed and there are louvred shutters outside as well as curtains inside. The room has an air conditioning head which is a reverse cycle heater for winter. The sofa is a fold out double bed. The sideboard contains spare crockery and glasses. The open fire does not function. There is an oil filled radiator. There is a television tuned through the equivalent of a freeserve box which provides access to french channels and international news channels such as BBC World. There is a region 2 DVD player (Europe and UK) and a radio, cassette, CD player. The internet wireless router is located in the living room and both landline and internet telephone can be made available on pre-agreed terms.




Kitchen The KITCHEN is in an alcove at the rear of the living room. The equipment comprises a fridge with a small freezer compartment, an oven, a ceramic hob. There is an extractor fan over the hob. There is a table and four chairs. The cupboards above the work surface and hob contain crockery and glasses. Another below contains saucepans. We leave a selection of cleaning materials for your use while you stay. The rent includes a full cleaning at departure.



Main Bedroom The MAIN BEDROOM is at the rear of the apartment with its door opening off the entrance hall. It has a double bed and a wardrobe. The room has a reverse cycle air conditioner head.




Second Bedroom The second bedroom is at the street front of the apartment. It has a single bed with a second pull out single bed underneath. This room has its own shuttered, double glazed window out onto the balcony. The room does not have an air conditioning head and relies on the cool air from the living room.



We have a shower room and not a bath. The toilet is in the shower room. The room has a heated towel rail and we provide a hair dryer.The room also has a power point.
