Our Apartment



 


The apartment is on the first floor of a five storey building dating which we believe dates from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, and is located in the old town sector of Antibes. It is near the Mairie and within 50 metres of the Marché Provençale which is open most mornings of the year (see "Antibes Town" page for details). It has a narrow balcony running the full width of the apartment frontage which is sufficient to sit chairs on.
 
Shuttered windows open onto the living room and the second bedroom. The main bedroom is at the rear. the apartment floors are tiled throughout.
 
The apartment is accessed up a stairway and the front door has an answerphone system enabling the door to be unlocked from the apartment.



 


The living room and second bedroom look out onto the street. The windows are double glazed and the living room is air conditioned.
 
The living room is equipped with a television, Region 2 (Europe and UK) DVD, CD and radio, and a double sofa bed. It also has a marble surround, cast iron fireplace.



The second bedroom has a single bed which has a second bed underneath it which can be rolled out and positioned for a second person. We recommend this for occasional use.
 
The room opens off the living room, and overlooks the street. It has a double glazed window with shutters. 



 



The apartment fronts onto Rue Georges Clemenceau. The road is lined with shops at the ground floor level. Our apartment sits over a Bureau de Change.
 
 
The apartment has a shower room, and not a bathroom.



 



The main bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe and is air conditioned. It has a double glazed window opening onto a light well between several buildings.


 


The kitchen is located in a large alcove off the living room and includes an oven, four ring hob, microwave, and refrigerator. There is a dining table with four chairs. The kitchen has a large selection of crockery, glasses and cookware.
